- On 9-11-08, a free motorcycle ride was dedicated to the memory of the 343 FDNY Firemen, 61 Police Officers and all those who tragically lost their lives on that historic day. Our goal is to draw Patriotic Americans together on a Remembrance Ride to honor these brave Americans. "The Ride" started at Cooks Corner and traveled down Laguna Canyon to the Pacific Coast Highway ending in Long Beach. The ride finished at a homemade memorial, at the home of a Long Beach Fireman, with a brief 20- minute Patriotic Remembrance Ceremony.
