    • HTML clipboard Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Toy Run December 20, 2009 Hundreds of Independent and Club riders turned out on a beautiful Southern California winter day to support all the children at Loma Linda Hospital. The Spirit of Christmas was truly in the air. Riders started to assemble at Quaid's Harley-Davidson, 15160 Redlands Boulevard in Loma Linda before 10 AM for a 1:30 ride out to deliver a truck load of toys. Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital is the world leader in infant heart transplantation, pioneering this life-saving procedure and comprehensive care for children to keep your family healthy and thriving.     • Cook's Corner - Sunday 12-06-09 The guys from Motor Trikes stopped by to show off a couple new designs. Cook's Corner is considered to be one of the most famous biker bars in Southern California. It is located at the juncture of Santiago Canyon and Live Oak Canyon roads. Cook's Corner was named after Andrew Jackson Cook, who got about 190 acres of Aliso Canyon in a land trade in 1884. In 1926, his son, Earl Jack "E.J." Cook converted a cabin into a restaurant for miners and local ranchers. After Prohibition ended in 1933, alcohol started being sold, and Cook's Corner became a full-fledged bar. In 1946, Cook bought an old mess hall from the Santa Ana Army Air Base and the tavern was born. In 1970, a Santa Ana motorcycle accessories owner purchased it and Cooks Corner was molded into what it represents today…an old-fashioned roadhouse. Cook's (as it is normally referred) is still as rugged-looking as a World War II-era-mess-hall-turned-biker-bar should look. HOURS: MON-THURS 9AM - 11PM FRI 9AM - 2AM SAT 7AM - 2AM SUN 7AM – Midnight Cook's Corner 19152 Santiago Canyon Road, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679 949-858-0266

    •   People got to test ride Honda Goldwing and H-D Ultra Classic trikes on Sunday September 27, 2009 at Extreme Dream Rider in Newport Beach, CA Extreme Dream Rider:Russ and Brandee Proctor started EDR in 2006 out of their garage in Laguna Niguel.After moving a few times to bigger locations in Orange County, EDR finally moved into their current location on 1880 Newport Blvd in mid May of 2009. EDR currently rents and sells Harley-Davidson, BMWs Honda (street + dirt) and ZERO electric motorcycles (street + dirt). Check www.GoEDR.com to have a look at their fleet.

    • Cruisin' for the Good Life 9-27-09

    •   On Sunday, September 27, 2009, fire service and law enforcement supporters from throughout Orange County and California gathered at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point to participate in a charity motorcycle ride and poker run that benefits two very important public safety charitable organizations:  The Fallen Fire Fighters Relief Fund and The Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs (AOCDS) Memorial Fund.   These two funds are fully recognized 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations and assist firefighters and peace officers as well as their families throughout Orange County and California that are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.  The charity ride is aptly called “Cruisin’ for the Good Life” as it is a wonderful opportunity for riders and passengers to join together in support of our community and support of our firefighters and peace officers in their time of need. There is something very special about hundreds of motorcycle riders and their passengers cruising together throughout Orange County streets proudly paying tribute to their firefighters and peace officers.  Thank you for supporting us, we truly appreciate it.

The event was hosted by Gilby Clarke. He is a guitarist and record producer. Gilby Clarke is best known as the rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses.  He has also played with Rock Star Supernova which was featured on the hit TV show Rockstar. C.O.P.S.' programs and services depend upon donations. Following are ways that individuals, businesses, clubs, groups, agencies, and survivors can help insure that C.O.P.S. can continue our programs for our current surviving families, and those survivors yet to come.   • Hello All... My name is DEVO I'm female and married and I have one of the new Harley "Tri-Glides"... I really like it! I joined Motozania in hopes of meeting other trike riders to "chat" with, and NOT Biker Planet which is apparently for singles, for one reason... I just want to share riding adventures and photos!
